Hi everyone,
Some of you may have noticed your subscription tier has changed. This is in line with a change to what is accessible for full (paid / complimentary) subscribers and everyone else. In essence, it has flipped.
The monthly issue of the Bulletin is now available for everyone: full and free subscribers; casual web surfers.
The weekly Smata-note, live chat and regular podcast episodes are now available exclusively to full subscribers.
As the Bulletin has developed, it is clear that you all see real value in the Smata-note and live chat. Some of you have said it feels like free PLD. Many of you have also said how much you enjoy the podcasts. Given the regular nature of these parts of the Bulletin, and the value you are receiving from them, they felt more suited to what a full subscriber would expect. For clarity, these will now be exclusive to full subscribers. At less than $1/week, it’s excellent value.
Those who opt for the free subscription option will recieve the monthly issue straight to their inbox each month, plus occassional access to other parts of the Bulletin.
The monthly issue will continue in the same form. However, the length between issues seems to be better aligned with those who engage ‘casually’. The depth it offers, and the spotlighting of voices of other practitioners out there on the edge of educational possibility, make it feel like the monthly issue deserves a wider audience.
Everyone who has helped get the Bulletin to this stage has, if they aren’t already, had their subscription upgraded to a full one as a way of saying thanks.
Do you know anyone who would enjoy being subscribed to The Smata Bulletin? If so, I would really appreciate it if you could recommend it to them. For a limited time, they can take advantage of a special ‘refer a friend’ 90 day free trial. Just share this post with them …
… and they can click the button below to activate their free trial, which can be can downgraded to the free subscription tier at the end of the period.
Thanks again everyone for all the support so far. Let’s keep building a learning focused collective.
