Assessment for judgement is the most valued form of assessment in schools, but it doesn’t easily align with the curriculum’s position that assessment exists for the purpose of improving student learning.
Is a re-framing of how assessment is conceptualised required? If a focus is placed on assessment for growth is that the answer? If so, how can it be valued?
