Hello everyone,
The Bulletin is changing shape, slightly. While nothing will affect what you currently receive as a free plan subscriber, I wanted to give you a heads up.
Some things stay the same
You’ll have noticed the weekly piece has evolved over the year, and now it’s in a form that seems to be going down well. I’m calling it the Q-T-A, and it will continue as it is: free, weekly and delivered to your inbox. Missed this week’s one? Here it is:
On the Bulletin website (bookmark the link for easy access), you can now read previous Q-T-A posts by clicking the tab. Also, you can scroll through the history of Bulletin posts up until now - that’s 16 months worth of content available for free!
The things that change
Starting September, there are two new sections @ The SMATA Bulletin, only available to those on a paid subscription plan.
Deep Dives: a monthly essay on an aspect of innovative educational theory and practice, with an accompanying discussion. These are designed to deepen your pedagogical knowledge and push your thinking.
Book Club: a book of the month, with a discussion. Plus, the ability to contribute recommendations of your own. This will be a casual, social space where we can be inspired by each other and bookish words of wisdom.
Access to both of these new sections costs $7 per month or $70 for the year. As faithful Bulletin subscribers, I’d like to offer you a 25% discount on an annual plan. Just click on this link to take advantage of it.
And lastly, check out the mentoring tab for details about an innovative approach to professional learning, and get in touch if you want to know more. NOTE: These plans are offered separately to a SMATA Bulletin subscription. If you’re a SMATA app subscriber, the mentoring plan that helps you adopt observation as a habit is likely to be of interest.

Thanks for reading the Bulletin with enthusiasm over the last 16 months. Your clicks, comments and shares are really appreciated and help keep the motivation going.
Stay safe out there in this crazy world. I hope you like the changes.
